I love to share my faith with non-believers and seekers alike, who have questions about the Christian faith, what we believe and why we believe it. In light of the postmodern perspective that many people adhere to these day, I would like to give a biblical perspective as a contrast to those who say that there is no absolute truth. I believe that the truth can be found in God's word the Bible. http://media4lifeministries.com

Roman Catholic Church fails the people
I believe that the Roman Catholic Church has a huge misunderstanding about what Jesus meant when He said: "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."Mat 19:14 The sexual abuse of young boys is an ongoing issue within the Catholic Church, where in the Bible does it say that the Priest are forbidden to be married, and instead are allowed to sexually abuse young Children? I know that not every Roman Catholic Priest is a child molester, but it is obviously a fact that many Priest in the past and presently are conducting themselves in a most despicable way, and that those Priest who do these things are protected by the Pope and the leadership within the Roman Catholic hierarchy. Instead of being defrocked and held responsible, the Catholic Church re-locates these foul Priest and tries to sweep the issue under the carpet. It is only because of the pressure from the media and people that were abused as children that came forward that this is out in the open, the Church would have left everybody in the dark just as they left the people in the dark before the reformation. Can the Roman Catholic Church truly be called a Christian Church? The abuses, other scandals and the handling of the issues by the Pope, Cardinals and Priest leads me to believe otherwise. The first Century Church in Jerusalem and the Churches in Asia minor established by the apostle Paul can be called true Christian Churches, although not perfect, but adhering to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, holding fast to sound doctrine and rebuking those who strayed from the true faith. The Roman Catholic Church would have been severally rebuked, by Paul and the other apostles and early church fathers. Today, many Catholics know what's going on within their church but only a few are willing to speak out against these abuses committed by these priest. The majority of Roman Catholic's are either blind or they are turning a blind eye to these horrible acts committed by these priest who are suppose to serve the people and not to control and exercise lordship over them. They are far from the meaning of Christian or Christ like. Shame on them, do they really believe that the will escape punishment? Do these priest believe that they are above the law? How can they confess to believe in Jesus and His teachings and not do those things that He commanded? God will hold them accountable for their action, they may be protected by the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church, but the time will come when they will be judged for their actions and I believe that their punishment will be severe. I hope and pray that the Roman Catholic Church will change their stance on the issue and address the problems that has been an ongoing problem for centuries now and starts being honest about what is going on behind closed doors.
